Overview
The AudioStack Pro Editor is a multitrack audio production environment that gives you full control over every element of your audio output. It combines AI-generated speech, licensed music, sound effects, and your own uploaded media files — all on a single timeline.
Pro Editor projects are accessible from the Production Console. Look for any item tagged Open with Pro Editor to jump straight in.
Tracks in Pro Editor
By default, there are 4 tracks created:
Voices — AI-generated speech clips (green waveforms)
Sound Design — background music from the AudioStack library (blue waveforms)
Sound Effects — individual sound effect clips (purple waveforms)
Media Files — your own uploaded audio files (orange waveforms)
Each track has M (Mute) and S (Solo) buttons.
You can turn up and down the volume when previewing sounds - but all of your audio will be automatically mixed and mastered when you hit the Produce button.
You can also add additional Media tracks by clicking + Add Media Track at the bottom of the timeline. This is perfect for situations where you want multiple voices speaking over each other, or multiple music or sound effect files layered.
Working with Media Files
The Media Files tab lets you bring your own audio into the editor — voiceovers, jingles, client recordings, or any audio asset you want to include.
Browsing your files
Click the Media Files tab in the top toolbar
The left panel opens your file browser with three folders: home, uploads, and recordings
Use the Category dropdown to filter by type (Voice, Music, Sound Effect, Media)
Click the ▶ play button on any file to preview it before adding it to the timeline
Drag a file onto the Media Files track, or click it to add it at the playhead position
Uploading a new file
In the Media Files panel, click Upload File
Select the audio file from your computer (WAV, MP3, and other common formats are supported)
In the upload modal, you can preview the file using the built-in player
Edit the File Name if needed
Select a Category — choose from Voice, Music, Sound Effect, or Media. This determines which track the file appears on, and helps the Audio Engine to mix and master your content effectively.
Click Upload to add it to your library
💡 Tip: Choosing the right category is important — a file uploaded as "Voice" will be treated as a voice for mixing and mastering purposes, so labelling your files correctly will lead to the best quality audio.
Producing Your Audio
Once you're happy with the arrangement on the timeline:
Check the track levels and use M/S to isolate any track you want to review
Click Produce Audio at the bottom of the screen
AudioStack will mix all tracks and render the final output — you'll see an "Audio production in progress..." indicator while it processes
When complete, the final audio is available to download or share from the Production Console
Tips & Best Practices
Use the Category filter in the Media Files panel to quickly find specific asset types across large libraries
Files in the recordings folder are audio captured via Speech to Speech — these can be reused across projects
The + Add Media Track button lets you layer multiple media clips independently, useful when you have several audio elements that need separate volume control
Always preview files before placing them on the timeline to save time
