Pro Editor helps you to create and fine-tune audio assets with much more precision than Instant Creative or Create an Ad in AudioStack.
It's a very powerful, yet intuitive tool designed for AI-powered audio production. It has the interface of a typical DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) such as Adobe Audition, Avid Pro Tools or Apple Logic Pro.
Here's what you can and can't do in Pro Editor
✅ You can:
Create text-to-speech using synthetic voices
Use music and sound effects from AudioStack's library
Upload any audio file as a media file (such as speech, music, sound effects or jingles)
Crop and split speech, music, SFX and media files
Fade any audio file in any track in or out
Tweak volume for any track
Download any audio clip in any track
Automatically produce/master your audio asset
❌ You cannot (currently):
Have more than one track for voice, music, SFX or media file
Manually equalize tracks using filters, plugins or custom settings for compression, reverb, LUFS, etc.
Pro Editor is designed for cloud-based, AI-powered audio production within large, media-producing organizations. Pro Editor provides many of the tools and capabilities needed to achieve that.
That being said, you have the ability to export your work as clips to a typical DAW should you need to.
How to export your work to a DAW – Clips
You currently cannot export a project directly into a DAW, but you can download individual clips (and of course your fully produced audio asset).
For any clip in any track you will see a download icon within it. Click it to download each clip as an MP3, where you will be able to import each clip into your DAW session.
💡 Currently, you can't take your time stamps with you.
How to export your work to a DAW – Full Mix
Your other option is to download your full Mix after hitting the "Production" button. This can be useful if you want to use your audio clip in a video, or you'd like to mix it with other clips in your DAW.
To do that, just use the Download icon in the lower player:
Importing an asset created in Pro Editor into other AudioStack workflows
A natural connection with Pro Editor is our Version an Ad workflow.
Version an Ad lets you create thousands of versions of an audio asset using AI-powered production, and it's used almost exclusively for audio ad creation.
How to prepare an audio ad for versioning
In order to prepare an audio asset for versioning we recommend following these steps:
Open an ad created in Instant Creative or build it from scratch and place a dynamic line where you like it (such as a store call-out or a product offer that will change in your campaign).
Listen to the full ad with the dynamic line (aka "Tag") in place:
3. When you're happy, delete the line and leave the space empty so that only the sound design (music bed) will play:
4. Now, Produce the ad and download it to your local machine:
5. You can now use the asset as a "Base Ad" with the Version an Ad workflow and fill the gaps with thousands of automatically-generated dynamic tags.
Currently you can use up to 2 dynamic tags per ad (such as a store location and a "offer ends on" tag).
