Quick Tips to Fix Pronunciation in TTS (text to speech)
If the voice mispronounces a word, you can often fix it by changing how the word is spelled. Think of it as writing the word how it sounds, not how it’s “correctly” spelled.
1. Write the Word How It Sounds
Change the spelling so it matches how you’d say it out loud.
Aurelius → Awreyleeus
Xavier → Zayveeur
BrewHero → BrooHeero
Try to keep it as one word, without spaces or hyphens.
2. Stretch Vowels for Long Sounds
Add extra vowels when you want the sound to be longer.
beet → beeeet
hero → heeroo
prime → praaim
3. Use Simple Letter Swaps
Replace tricky letter combos with simpler ones that match the sound:
ph → f → symphony → simfony
soft c → s → celsius → selsyus
hard c → k → Cortez → Kortez
4. Tweak Consonants for Clarity
Sometimes doubling or changing consonants helps:
Gina → Jeena
Roger → Rodjer
vision → vizhun
5. Try a Few Variants
For tricky names or brands, test 2–4 versions and pick the best sounding one:
Aurelius → Awrelius / Awreelyus / Awreyleeus
