By this point, you should already have a good idea of what you want your ad to sound like. If you're not comfortable working with a timeline, feel free to click 'Skip Step' to export your audio immediately.
In the Produce step, you'll be able to add media files and sound effects to the timeline, and adjust speech timings and fades.
Add a Sound Effect
To add a new sound effect to your ad, click on 'Add Clip to Timeline' then select 'Add Sound Effect'.
This will open the Sound FX library - a searchable collection of AI generated sound effects that you are free to use in your work.
To use a sound effect in your session, select the effect you want to use, by clicking on its name. A new track will be created on the timeline, allowing you to position the sound effect anywhere in your ad.
Then, click the play button and wait for your ad to update.
Can't find an effect you like? You can also upload files including music or sound effects by selecting 'Select from Files' or 'Upload a File' from the 'Add Clip to Timeline' menu.
Position and Trim Audio
To change the position of a speech file, uploaded media file or sound effect, simply drag it to the correct position, and then hit the play button. If you need to make a more precise edit to the timing, you can expand the 'View clip details' section and change the timings, down to the millisecond.
To trim audio, select and drag the handle at the edge of the clip, or edit the length in the clip details.
Setting Fades
In the clip details panel, you can also set fade in and fade out times for a given clip.
Looking for more advanced controls? You can always click 'Open in Pro Editor' to continue editing your session in a more traditional studio-style editor.
